You don't have to suffer !

ANXIETY

Although anxiety affects us all at some point - perhaps an upcoming event, wondering what someone might say or think; if you'll make a fool of yourself,  or worrying about a new job for example. But for some, anxiety takes a hold of absolutely everything and the worry becomes excessive and debilitating.

Anxiety can make your heart race, your mind become exhausted with excess negative or scary thoughts, take your breath away, and even cause the body to shake. It has a profound effect on every day life.

Anxiety can affect your sleep, your concentration, and even cause you to avoid things that trigger anxiety creating a heavy feeling of impending doom or panic.  Occasionally anxiety can go away on its own, however, most anxiety gets worse over time if it is not treated.

If you feel that anxiety is upsetting for you, hard to control or taking over your life, please make contact with me because there is help, and you can feel better.

Sometimes, Phobias, Post Traumatic Stress (PTS) or Post traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can trigger anxiety. It can be caused by ill health or a long term health condition.

If you suffer from panic attacks, not only can hypnotherapy help, but there are several approaches which means there will be one that suits you. Panic attacks are a horrific thing to experience. It is often described by sufferers as feeling like they are going to die, heart racing, chest pain, and more. They are frightening for both the sufferer and those around them. Being told to breathe deeply more often than not, is not a successful way to help someone in a panic attack. As a qualified BLAST technique practitioner  (the fastest healing modality I have come across) the  most traumatic issues can be healed in as little as one session.

Anxiety or panic attacks are not a sign of weakness. They are signs you need helping hand to get back on track and there is no shame in that. Sometimes all you need is another person to help you lift a heavy bag. That is all therapy is.

Don't suffer in silence or let anxiety spoil your life.

DEPRESSION

Depression can cause intense feelings of sadness, emptiness and hopelessness. It is like a huge dark cloud that descends on us sucking out all the joy and  positivity. It can manifest as irritability, aggression and disturb your sleep patterns. You may not be able to sleep or find yourself sleeping for extended periods. You may feel lethargic, exhausted and miserable. Depression, like anxiety, can affect anyone. It can be in part due to family history, bereavement, relationship breakdown, illness and even manifest after giving birth. Depression can be a result of, or connected to chronic anxiety. Sometimes depression is the result of one bad thing after another resulting in that cycle that can be hard to break alone. It is a lonely place to be, but it doesn't have to be. If you suffer with depression get in touch now so we can work on a treatment plan for you.
